I believe Mbappe has already been offered a better deal after the free transfer when he joins them rather than paying hundreds of millions of euros to sign him now. Both Real Madrid and Mbappe appear remorseful about all of this, which indicates that they were planning something without the public's awareness. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing how this finishes before the next season begins. At the end of the day, PSG will either benefit or suffer from Mbappe's deal.
