My friends and I used to play games while wagering something. I wasn't fully aware that what we were doing at that time was already considered as gambling I was only educated about it when I told my parents stories of how my friends and I were hanging around after classes. The experience was fun and interesting. I got thrilled by the fact that I'll be able to get something bigger than the amount of money that I was betting as long as luck is on my side. Since I was told by my parents not to engage myself in such acts ever again, I have since avoided gambling.

However, in our digital world right now, I believe that there's nothing wrong with gambling as long as you are doing it moderation and you've done a lot of research before wagering something.

If you actually do your research then probably almost no one would gamble.

If you see the maths behind it, it tells you that the expected return of your investment is negative.

Of course doing anything in moderation is fine, if you get some positive aspect from it, but it's a slippery slope.

Same as with alcoholics, some people just can't drink in moderation.
