Yeah it looks like they just disappeared and gone underground, but I think they are still working on making serious changes and introducing other privacy coins with exchange and other improvements.
I know some developers are doing similar things when they want to focus and do more work in shorter amount of time, but maybe their campaign manager Hhampuz can say if he had any contact with them recently.
