I'm now starting to think
you guys actually call it "Pidgin" which just sounds funny

When I saw posts on the Nigerian local board before, I thought it was just English but with lots of mistakes. Now I'm starting to think this is how it's supposed to be:
Pidgin isn't just a language we made up, it's widely accepted in Nigeria and other part of Africa continent especially West Africa. For example we have the
BBC News, Pidgin that all the news been aired are in pidgin language. For the fact that you don't understand completely what we're saying that make it a local language to us while English is our international language (and it's kind of stressful to me to write as I have to cross check multiple time to make sure I don't make a mistake but I still make them) which goes to show that's not my main language as I can never make mistake when speaking my local dialect or pidgin language. Infact before you could understand what I was saying is because I replaced most of the words with English word and not our local slangs and that because the boards welcomes both pidgin and English for now.
Can someone of you share a link or a video where we can hear the pronunciation of pidgin? I can partially understand what you write, but I would like to hear how it sounds in conversation. I'm just curious
In addition to the video (podcast) that Igebotz shared, you can Google on your own time any video you want to watch in pidgin. We have educational videos both on
Bitcoin and the crypto industry voiced in pidgin language. Listen attentively as the pidgin use when speaking is more advanced then when writing, when writing we can mix some english in-between the pidgin but when speaking we just go with the flow.
