I agree that this will be a warning for Luis Enrique indeed. No victory in two games and the next one will be vs Lens. The negative news is that they are facing their direct rival Lens. The positive news is that Lens situation isn't any better than PSG since they lost a game and got a draw vs another. The defeat was vs Brest so PSG should not miss these 3 points.

Some more negative news is that Real Madrid wants to make a final offer shortly before the transfer market closes because that doesn't give PSG a lot of room for negotiation. If this is true, there is still a chance that PSG will not nominate Mbappe for the game against Lens and if they do, Mbappe wouldn't dare to play his best and perhaps risk an injury. I think we won't have a final answer until the very last minute of this transfer period has passed. For PSG Mbappe is a critical player as they won't get any better obviously without him. But maybe it's better for them to finally have an answer to all of this then to be in the headlines every single day. But the tactical considerations by Real Madrid make sense. PSG would have to make a decision whether they take a big loss next year or go for the money this year and put a full stop to this story.

If Mbappe doesn't extend his contract with PSG then keeping Mbappe in the squad for only one season will not be profitable for PSG. My opinion is that coach Luis Enrique should be given a chance to work with a completely new squad. If PSG make Mbappe part of their match plan this season, and if Mbappe leaves the team next season, then PSG's performance will be erratic again next season. So Luis Enrique should work with the new team this season. Not keeping Mbappe in the match plan. Maybe PSG's performance will be erratic in some matches this year. But if the team gradually stabilizes, they can continue to perform well in the coming season.

Mbappe's relationship news seems to me to be just rumours. We have seen a lot of drama regarding Mbappe. But Real Madrid need an experienced striker if they want to dominate the Champions League.
