Nothing sweet me for this thread pass this line. If you focus on actually learning and educating others, you won't even know how and where the merits would come from, but they would come. Me sef been dey newbie rank, but with time and effort, I don enter jr member. After small time again, I go move, na so the thing be. So no stress or depend on another person, just do your part leave the rest for God
I agree with the part you mentioned none dependant on any person, is best you put in you efforts in building yourself rather than to waste time depending on another person because in reality you are the so propeller of your journey here in the forum.
Another point I will like to emphasize on it in the area of over focusing on merits, this doesn't make too much sense in the long run, because we have some members here, that instead of focusing on personal development and working to improve their work here, they focus so much on the merit so at the end, they accumulate tons of merits but lack the needed quality to sustain that level, and in no distance time wether they be Hero, Legendary or full member, the still end up not being useful on anything around the forum even though they spend many years in the forum.
So it not how far but how well, and I am glad newbies of this days are beginning to realize this fact that of quality before quantity, so the goal is self development first.
