Not everything has to be compared like that even though it is both football, because the Saudi Arabian professional league is inhabited by teams with a very large financial level so that it clearly makes the players more comfortable to be there. Meanwhile, in Serie A, Inter Milan and AS Roma have very different financial strengths so it is not feasible to compare them with the teams in the Saudi Arabian professional league. After all, Inter Milan also used Lukaku on loan last season and that was not much different from what AS Roma did this season.

There is nothing wrong if Lukaku plays at AS Roma although indeed, maybe Lukaku also prefers to play at Inter. But in a case like this, I think it is still a move and or a transfer that is natural to happen too. Because it seems too, maybe there was a disagreement between Inter and Chelsea before, so that made Inter retreat to recruit Lukaku. Therefore, then I think at least Lukaku is also still lucky, because there are still big teams like AS Roma who are interested in recruiting him, even if only on loan. Surely it would be better, if compared to Lukaku who stayed at Chelsea but was not included in the squad list.

I would really like to know and understand the reasons why the final solution was that Lukaku now went to Roma instead of getting more time with Inter. Isn't the only possible answer here that Inter Milan was not willing to pay enough for him either for a loan or for a transfer? He didn't have much time to find back into the squad and he did that quite well, but it was obviously not enough to convince Inter Milan to go for him for an additional season.

Or maybe Roma has offered so much more even for the loan that Chelsea blocked another loan period for Lukaku at Inter Milan. Would be nice to know but I guess we won't find out because everybody will now say how happy they are with the solution they found.
