Liverpool still can't let Salah to leave, they need Salah because he is Liverpool machine goal. Selling him to Saudi club won't be a wise decision although they got huge money. Liverpool without Salah, probably will be in crisis of productive attackers. There is no player in Liverpool squad who has the same level as Salah, he is irreplaceable. Sure, if Liverpool sells Salah, they will experience the same situation when he lost Sadio Mane.

If this happens then they have to give up big money but I think it's also a very correct decision when talking about Salah because seeing from his current condition especially with last season they must be willing to get out of the top 4 zone then now is the time for them to prove themselves again and Salah is still very much needed for that.

I think they know the consequences and what will be taken whether it is trying to keep Salah with a duration of at least one more season at Anfield or get fresh funds that can be used in the winter to make regeneration at the club.

With the summer transfer window about to close, it is quite certain that Salah will remain at Anfield at least until the end of this season or mid-season taking into account Salah's contract and age.
But on the other hand this is also actually quite the right decision for Liverpool even though they lost big money from Salah's offer but with Salah's performance which is still fairly good, I think this is comparable.
