This is a very peculiar attack, firstly because it occurs far from the front, second because it has to be done from either inside Ruzzia or from the nearby border (I cannot discard that operatives could use NATO territory to launch the attack to be honest).
However, what I find more interesting is the target, the ILUs - just the transport version. I can only guess that is an economic hit of around $50 million per unit for a total of 200 million using low-tech drones?. Ruzzia has around 100 of these, it is not really scarce, but may be difficult to replace under sanctions.
Yeah, Russia have over 100 such planes. But I read that they're capable to produce just few such planes per year, so such loses just in one attack is painful. Offcourse, it would be more fun if it would be some fighter jets damaged, but still, it's more effective than hitting some ''Moscow City'' skyscrappers

. And most important thing that this attack shows that Ukraine is capable to reach targets which are very far away from front line, so, Russians can't feel safe there.
Oleksiy Danilov said that with development of their long range missiles and drones, hitting targets even at 1500 km distance is no longer a problem.
