If gamblers are been discriminated in our surrounding and there's a way we can keep our gambling habit a secret from the public then we should do it because the public judgement can make use feel ashamed and when that happens it might affect our gambling results.

While we hide our gambling activities from the public we shouldn't hide our gambling from our family and love ones because they'll be the ones to help us if we're getting addicted to gambling and that's why they have to know what we're doing so they'll be prepared if it happens.

If we hide our gambling activities from our family and loved ones, we might regret it because there will be no one to prevent us from going the extreme miles for money to used in gambling when we begin to go low on funds to use due to we over gambling and exceeding budget.

In reality gambling has its positives and negatives aspects if it disclosed to others. Among the downsides are the gamblers they may be criticized by others who may be humiliated. Sometimes their own decisions may be hindered. But the good side is that if a gambler shares his gambling with whom he can get good suggestions which can help him to win in gambling or get the right solution if he has any addiction like you mentioned. I think a gambler should share his gambling with a trusted person. In this case, it can be someone from your own family or some other relatives or friends.
