It's not necessarily an either-or situation. You can buy a new Apple device and continue to stack sats. I have purchased several Apple devices with Bitcoin that I've earned through the years and don't have any regrets. An iPhone you purchased one year ago might not have the same value but in those past 12 months you've gotten a lot of use from it.
Are you trying to say you can't get same use from a cheaper phone, Iphone aren't the best phone on the market, they just have a lot of marketing and celebrities using the phone which makes others (in attempt to feel among, breaks their bank to buy one). philipma1957 talked about buying a Samsung phone that's very much cheaper and can save you money that can be used to invest in Bitcoin. I even said if you're that in love with apple then buy their shares on the market instead of wasting it on a gadget that can be stolen or get spoiled. Have you seen the rate at which this gadget get bought bit yet people are complaining that they don't have money but can afford this gadgets just to feel among. They're getting the wrong idea of things to prioritize which is bad because tomorrow they'll regret this decision.
In my country the people don't buy iPhones(or expensive smartphones in general) by paying the whole price upfront.
They buy iPhones by paying monthly for 24-month periods. Paying a monthly fee won't break your wallet, but at the end of the day, that's just a smartphone.
I'm of the opinion that if you can't afford it don't buy it, why will I spend 12 months working to pay of a liability that I could have avoided in the first place. Imstead of working for 12 monyhbto lay off an iphone why don't they use that money and DCA into Bitcoin for that 12 months. Doing this will be more productivity then paying off an iphone. What makes the iphone that import to own, if you want to own kt because it gives you respect or make you look rich then why don't strive to be rich instead if pretendinuto be rich when you're not. I just don't see any reason to justify the purchase of an iphone except for those that uses it as an asset that generate income for them like social media influencers.
