Yes, even though Bayer Leverkusen still hasn't reached the level and/or quality of Bayern Munich, at least Bayer Leverkusen managed to put up a good fight in yesterday match, which is also a good result for Bayer Leverkusen. After all, with results like that, at least this season Bayern Munich will also have strong competitors in the title race in the Bundesliga. @Jateng It is definitely a little foolish to expect them to perform at the same level as Bayern Munich. Maybe if Xabi Alonso is the coach of this team for 2/3 more seasons, he will be able to take this team close to the level of Bayern Munich. Real madrid will take xabi as new appointment next year. Xabi will not be staying even longer till the end of this season. Leverkusen is already equal in term of performance for this season.
There's no need to feel doubt about the quality owned by xabi as a coach. Many great coaches have been also praising him even before xabi already recruited to be a new coach for leverkusen.
Xabi has been delivering for leverkusen. Leverkusen is also even stronger compared with dortmund at this season.
