Luckily, work will decrease after group stage because we'll have less matches.
My conclusion of our first round basically boils down to:
We should remember we have 52 people participating in Pool B (odds prediction) while we've only 10 prize spots. So, only 20% of people will win and as a participant, we need to be a Top 20% participant to win some prize here.
People submitting safe bets (like I did, where I made 12.2 points) might result in a positive balance overally but it's not enough to be Top 20 in the end for claiming a prize spot. Simply because being a bit better than average is not enough to get a Top 20% result. It is very unlikely that 80% of all participants will end up having an average of 10 points or less per round.
So, my conclusion is simple: for getting a Top 20% result, I'm anticipating, a participant may need around at least x1.4 per round to get a Top 20% position and claim a prize spot.
Not sure about general numbers since like you've said, lots of favorites won and therefore, many people made good points by backing favorites but for our next round, numbers might change in case of upsets.
