Mbappe would have performed better or he was in a club like Manchester City. But Haaland is better in terms of character. Mbappe sometimes feels superior and can be stubborn but Haaland is always well-behaved. If Mbappe gets a better club and works on his bad behavior, he will be the GOAT in football in a few years.
