Basically yes. It would be common sense that when someone asks you something, to reply. Or, in this case, you could simply just make that update.

Basically no. You wrote to me at that period of my life when some pictures interested me the least, but I saw this message. Then, after some time, when I was updating the pictures in the fillippone threads, I went to the topic you wrote to me about, and all the pictures were there. This happened at the moment when the pictures from imgur began to work again for some time, after which I no longer entered this topic, because I began to work on restoring my themes. If this is so important to you, you could write again, and not remember it here, in the format of some kind of complaint.

What does this have to do with the topic of incompetent translations by persons who only translate announcement topics, but are not users of these services?

This is a topic three years ago, but I’m talking about updates to the topic of services, and not all translations in general. That topic is not a service, but an essay where the pictures don’t make any sense.

I don't know how others proceed, but when I am making a translation I keep it always updated, even after years. At least, in case I am aware of changes made to the original text. The time should not be a criterion here, if the translator is aware that the original author updated a text he translated. This is what true dedication looks like.

Well done, keep being dedicated, I don't mind. In my understanding, dedication is when translation is supported by knowledge. Without knowledge and experience, translation is just a bunch of garbage, spam. This is my point of view, you may not agree with it, that's your business.

I am not against translations in principle, I am against translations by incompetent people.
