I have myself read about the situation with the cartels in Mexico and I must grant that you are right when you say they are a problem, perhaps bigger than anyone realizes. However, don't you think it would be problematic to declare those cartels as terrorist organizations? Because, terrorism usually implies a political motivation, and cartels do not have such a thing, their motivation is purely economical.

Regardless of it, I am sure that as we get closer and closer to the date of the presidential election, the talking point of Mexico and the threat from cartels will continue to arise. Hopefully, all this won't translate into a unilateral attack by USA in Mexican soil.
