I don't think anyone actually wants Bayern Munich to perform bad. People just want to see good competition from other teams in the Bundesliga. Which is not happening for a long time. However, Bayer Leverkusen has changed that narrative since the start of the season and have been winning matches and getting good results for the club. Xabi Alonso's men are currently league leaders and looks like the team that's gonna finally stop Bayern Munich dominance in German league.
