Also, why do you think that person who gamble, with 100% probability becomes addicted? Why cant we gamble for fun? Somehow I think you are narrow minded about kids and gambling.

I think he just used a wrong word and phrased his thoughts too vague, but means no harm to the gambling community. It's true that gambling has its negative effects to people, there should be no denying in that. It can cause addiction and several effects to one's mental health and financial capacity. Hence, it's really risky to involve kids that know nothing yet when it comes to gambling. It's still much better to keep them out of it until their brain can fully understand how it works, together with its pros and cons, so that they could think and act in their own without being swayed or pressured by the society or their peers, or even be lost on the process.

Gamblers and bettors aren't bad people. You can't really distinguish someone's attitude based on the things they do. Sure, you can make your guess, but you can't really say that they are like that for sure. It will just be your impression of them and there's nothing wrong with that. But don't impose it to others as well and don't go telling that around cause you might find trouble. Gambling can be done for fun and for profit depending on what you prefer.

Again, why is it bad to gamble in front of kids? Do kids have millions and billions, and if they see adults gamble, they would lose all their money in no time? Even if the kid has money, gambling would be one of the last things the kid would spend it on. Instead, he would buy toys and sweets. Dont forget that kids have entire life ahead. Maybe I am different and had different kids around me and had different childhood. I've seen adults play cards, I've seen they make bets (not in casinos, but a bet between two persons), I have played cards and monopoly with fake money. Same did all the kids I know. I have observed them grow (for example my goddaughter that is 15 already), and I have never seen a kid that turns gambling addicted.
