That is what I would say, too. But I partially disagree with your last sentence in so far that it feels like this topic might once again not come to an end. I tend to believe the transfer to Real Madrid will become reality, but there is a good bit of doubt left because Al Khelaifi might again approach him and put a bag of cash on the table that Mbappe feels once again he can't refuse.
Or I could be completely wrong and the contracts are more or less written by now. But given how all the drama enfolded around Mbappe in the past, I would rather wait and see

A very right choice, I think speculation about Mbappe future is the most difficult to predict compared to the others. PSG is financially very stable, so it is able to offer a large salary and bonuses to Mbappe. Real Madrid also has the same thing as PSG, but is more promising when it comes to the Champions League trophy. After seeing various rumors about Mbappe move last summer, it is better to wait and see how the Mbappe transfer saga ends.
For now, PSG through the cool hands of Luis Enrique, must maximize Mbappe in every competition they participate in. It must be admitted, without Mbappe PSG cannot talk much, either in Ligue 1 or the European Champions League.
Maybe the hardest thing to predict is about Mbappe and his next destination because even sometimes we are sure about his palyer and his next destination until the last moments, but in the end, he changes his mind and usually because of more money and a better situation is PSG he stays there. While we all know he showed interest in leaving PSG many times and he wants to play for Real Madrid because he has much more chance to win the Chmapnips League with this team. but still, he stayed there, I think there is even the possibility for Mbappe to extend his contract for a longer time with PSG.
Maybe the best Real Madrid and some other teams they want to hire this palyer can do is to just try hiring other players instead of waiting for him.
