The weakness of teams like Psg-Monaco-Marseille in general is that they are in a league like Ligue 1 where there is a rigid defense. In a league like the Premier League, where the game is constantly flowing, the team in form is challenging every team and the quality of the league is very important. This is why the French have not been successful in Europe. Their league is very static and even the bottom teams in the premier league are very strong. The Spanish solve it with technique. Italians solve it with rationality and defense from time to time. But in France there is no clear football culture. It's always been like this.
