Beside ruining my savings, I can tell that my gambling disaster has helped me be more cautious about dividing my budget, use of my savings and diversifying my investment. I admit that I personally am not fully able to control my gambling habits so some portion of my earnings/savings now are directed towards crypto investment, FDs, Stocks and SIPs. I'd definitely agree on this. You know, gambling is gambling, and once we developed some passion into it, our emotions will not be fully 100% in controlled anymore especially if we are given chances to win most often. That's why it's a good thing that you initiated some prevention first before you fall into gambling addiction, and by putting your money into some crypto investments, your profits might probably be higher than those you can gain from gambling in the future.

Well, that's also my future plan but this time, since my funds are not yet stable than it should be, then I just have to try gambling with an amount I can afford to lose, and just continue to gamble responsibly until I've come to earn sufficient funds to invest in the future.

Your gambling will not necessarily "ruin it one day". It's like saying that doing something risky you will definitely fail. It doesn't work like that, okay? You are more likely to lose, that's true, but your losing is never guaranteed. You can gamble for 40 years and still be in profit. Who knows in what period of time your losing everything is guaranteed? I personally think it is close to like a thousand years or so. That is not to say that you can be gambling recklessly. No. Irresponsible gambling will most likely have a negative impact on your life sooner than one can expect.
