I would say that losing against Real Madrid is not a big setback for Girona. After all Real Madrid,, without a doubt the best team in the La Liga competition. So losing against them is not a huge, unexpected action for a lot of people. And at the same time, even though they actually lost against Real Madrid, they are still at the top of the table and on the second position.
Considering Real Madrid's lack of proper form this season and the consistency Girona had before facing Real Madrid, I expect them to get at least a draw in the match because, for the past two seasons, they have played well against Real Madrid because they won Real Madrid last season, and statistically, before this match, their winning possibility was 50/50 because they both won two matches each and drew one in their last five matches they played together.

Nevertheless, losing to Real Madrid is not a bad thing because they are one of the best teams in the league, even though their performance this season is not up to fans expectations due to injuries and a lack of a proper, reliable top nine since Benzema left them last season.

so I will say that the performance is still good enough for them. They just have to be consistent. And looking at the matches that are coming up, I believe they have the capability to avoid loss. I want to be surprised if they stay on the second position of the table and the point difference between them and Barcelona get bigger.
Their next five matches are winnable according to their current form if they can keep the consistency, and they will be ahead of Barcelona since Barcelona's next five matches are more difficult compared to Girona's fixtures.
