Families can suffer as well, with spouses, children and other loved ones experiencing the emotional and financial fallout of a family member’s gambling addiction. So it's better to manage yourself and if you can't stop having an obsession in gambling, Seek a medical help because they know what is the best for you and they will tell you how you will cope up in that situation. Gambling can be a beneficial experience but just like other activities such as shopping, if done in an irresponsible way without knowing the limit, it can turn into a crippling addiction.
