Bitcointalk is place for learning and If you gives proper time to read experience member thread and their idea, I hope you will learn alot here. mistake is not a bad thing but you should learn from your mistakes. The main thing is how you reaction once you have been warned about any mistake, some newbies start fighting (without arguments) which is very bad because it will close the door of learning.
