Nope, he never did. I've seen the comparison of his weight before cutting weight and after and I thought he was so drained. There's no way he'll be in top condition after shedding too much and too fast.

Everyone knew from the start that Islam Makhachev would easily beat Volkanovski and you could see what the result would be.
I agree with @OgNasty that Volkanovski is actually not ready for his fight against Islam who is the defending champion and great fighter.
All this is thanks to Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov who previously taught Islam and what Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov has done has created two tough fighters for the UFC namely Khabib and Islam.

UFC President Dana White will prepare the fighter to challenge Islam in his next fight.
