Exactly, Understanding what you are doing is basically the key to emotional dealing, this brings my memory back to when I was a newbie trader, I was trading with emotions because I had no proper knowledge about trading, exited trades when the market was on correction, and the worst of it was that I was using high leverage and a little bit more above my entry point I'm already on huge lose.

To manage emotion don't trade with money you can't afford to lose.
Stop using high leverage or lot size and manage risk.
