I'm glad you have same observation as mine, few weeks back before the international break, I watch one of the games Manchester city played in the premier league and I observed erling haaland carefully and came to a conclusion that he was typically a goal scorer but some other person's argued vhemently with me saying he is rather creative, but I still maintained my stands.
Haaland is a good play no doubts but on thing is sure if he were to be placed in such position as son, where he has to make the play, create the chances and score a goal, I don't think he will do better, son is a play maker, creative and hustles for his ball mean while haaland on the other hand as good good team mates up on which he is some how dependent upon, so the comparison doesn't have matching points.

It is difficult to compare him with Haaland because in this case Haaland is only a goal machine who still relies on assists from other people, namely Kevin De Bruyne. Meanwhile, Son is able to create his own float, can move independently and has individual skills both as an assist and as a goal scorer. Haaland currently does not have the ability to supply the ball. It is clear that this season without Kevin De Bruyne, his productivity in scoring goals has dropped drastically.
