some people will get addicted faster to some things than other people (and other things)
if an individual is really sensitive to addictions the best thing to do it probably to just stay away of this things and focus on what brings him/her good experiences and feelings in the world

easier said than done sometimes but necessary.
That's very true because each person does not have good self-control, so many people will become addicted to gambling faster than others. They must really learn self-control so that they don't become addicted to gambling and won't be too interested in continuing to gamble, especially if they have won previously.

what do you think is the solution to get help to these people?
are you more into the individualistic side with a "too each their own" approach where there's some kind of natural selection and some will fatally lose anyway or do you take a more collectivist approach thinking that we should take care of all humans and get the person some support and network if they don't have the means to help themselves?

really curious on these possible points of view

I share my answer to this. To be frank, I don't care about the other people, or, let's say, those people who're not related to me. I share many pieces of advice and opinions here in the forum about how to aid addiction to gambling, such as that, but that's it, because I believe it's still up to the person if he or she will absorb my advice or every piece of advice he or she receives. My only concerns are my friends and family. I once helped a friend who got too addicted to gambling. I helped him divert his attention to other things and helped him earn in different ways, like trading and investing in bitcoin, which is more efficient than wasting money on gambling with no idea if you will really earn from it. So I'm more likely to help related to me only, maybe I can help to the others but will not put too much effort.
