Even though Chelsea almost won the match because in the first half they played much better and their defense is also considered solid.

On paper, Chelsea is superior to Brentford, in many ways the quality of Pochettino squad is still behind Brentford. Despite a series of inconsistent results during the season, Chelsea are now experiencing gradual improvement as several injured players are back available. I think they have managed to find their confidence again, and Pochettino is halfway to forming his ideal squad for this season.
