I agree with you, especially in the case of Dembele and Ansu Fati. Barcelona would have performed better with those guys if they were around. even though I won't easily discredit the efforts of the players that played yesterday match. But Barcelona should have envisaged the big match and could have add more efforts.

It was more of let's start hard and finish softly, yesterday. Like a case of we are in a hurry in the first half but have all the time to relax in the second half. If Barcelona had applied the same efforts they used in the first half, they would have performed more incredibly.

After Ousmane Dembele was permanently sold to Paris Saint Germaine in the summer, I was very surprised to see Barcelona allow Ansu Fati to join Brighton and Hove Albion on loan even when they don't have too much number of strikers.
Ferran Torres hasn't impressed since the start of the season and it's really affecting Barcelona's performance in their matches. Robert Lewandowski who was injured is currently back to action and hopefully, his return will improve the club's performance in their next upcoming matches.

Fati was also injured and lacked game time from Xavi. Freeing him to Brighton is a way to get fit and return back to Barcelona. He is no doubt one of Barcelona finest creators and creative players after Messi left. Injuries has denied him the opportunity to impress Xavi, so it is good he is around Brighton coach who knows how to work with young players that are creative.
Barcelona had Ferran Torres when things for Barcelona was difficult. With hesitation he left Man city for Barcelona. Xavi trust him even if he has not performed well this season.
Lewandowski is the finest and best option they have in attack, his absence will lead to reduce goals scored for Barcelona.
