It makes me wonder what they were doing, the whole pre-season if he was wasting his time focusing on perfecting one formation yet there's no improvement with it this season, the thing about this coach is that he's very stubborn and feels he's doing the right thing even when he's wrong, if he doesn't change his strategy and stop his poor decision making then I think he'll end up loosing his managerial role in his second tenure at Manchester United just like some of the previous coaches before him.

I don't know how true but there's a rumor that Manchester United have already lined up Zinedine Zidane as a possible replacement for Erik Ten Hag if he fails to improve the teams performance and he's been given 2 ultimatum to prove himself worthy of restoring the team back to playing better like the previous season.

Manchester United's performance in the pre-season matches was not good either. However, Ten Hag did not change their match strategy or formation. And so far Manchester United's performance has been poor. However, we don't see any change in Ten Hag's formation. I agree with you that Ten Hag is very stubborn, and thinks what he does is right. But because of his stubbornness, Manchester United's performance is very poor now. We are fed up with Manchester United's performance in both the Champions League and Premier League.

Zidane is a great coach now. He is very experienced. Manchester United will be very lucky if they get Zidane as their coach. But I'm not sure if Zidane would be interested in coaching Manchester United right now.
