~snip~
This is kind of sick person who is crazy and he never considers himself crazy because his mind cannot realize that what happened was mistake or really complicated problem.
Gambling addicts who can realize that their addiction is very dangerous and must be overcome are addicts who have lost lot of valuable things overall.
There will be desire to be able to overcome or treat the addiction they are experiencing, but ambition or feelings of addiction from gambling are the single biggest obstacle that must be overcome in order to continue trying to recover.

But previously, if you were friend and tried to do more to advise gambling addicts, it would be in vain because they would only prioritize the thoughts and feelings they have.
The best step is to let them truly break down and regret their actions so that they will make efforts to come to their senses and recover on their own.
Perhaps the gambler has to experience a very big loss and make him sink so that he can really realize that he has made a fatal mistake. If so, he really doesn't care that he has a very serious gambling addiction and only has to wait for it to break down before he can realize his mistake. We shouldn't be like that, and if we have experienced a losing streak and there is a desire to return to gambling or even continue gambling, that means we have started to experience a gambling addiction. We must immediately find a way to overcome it. Don't let gambling addiction dominate our minds because it will be very dangerous for ourselves and the people around us. It's better for us always to be responsible when playing gambling and always be disciplined in spending money on gambling so that we don't experience any problems from gambling because we have to control ourselves, and it's not gambling addiction that controls us.

Right I think it should be like that, I mean they have to experience a really significant downturn in gambling to be able to make themselves realize that this is an activity that has a high risk and is not at all a place to earn income and also so that they realize that they have gone too far in their gambling involvement. It is true that if we want to know whether we are addicted or not one of them as you suggest is quite reasonable, when we have a losing streak but we still want to gamble then of course I think it is very appropriate to conclude that we are addicted, because usually people who are addicted are always excessive in gambling, they will not accept defeat and continue to want to win at the end of the session, even though on the other hand gambling is just an activity for entertainment when we are bored to just fill the time by trying their luck. If we have confirmed that we are addicted then we better try to start reducing the activity, yes I understand it is quite difficult but on the other hand nothing is impossible and I am sure you are also uncomfortable with always being in such a cycle.

One preventive measure that is quite effective in my opinion is to put a budget amount that we can be responsible for whatever the results are, don't overdo it because the end result will not always be appropriate.
