Don't write AFG, they still have two game while NZ and PAK has only one game left so who knows if AFG win both games then they can surpass both of them and take a spot at top 4.
NZ playing against SL on Nov 9
PAK playing against ENG on Nov 11
So we have to wait until that to find who is going to take that 4th spot. As I said AFG also got a chance too if they can manage to pull some miracles.
I think you have missed with whom Afghanistan will be playing their last two matches. New Zealand and Pakistan will be playing against SriLanka and England which are both weak teams and they are likely to win these matches unless we see any major upsets in those matches.
However, Afghanistan will be playing against Australia on 7 November and they will take on South Africa on 10 Nov. Both South Africa and Australia are very strong teams and it won't be easy for Afghanistan to beat them. I think that Afghanistan's journey has ended because most probably they will lose both matches.
