A winter transfer season is not a good one to buy players. Big clubs will not let their best players to move in the winter transfer window so it's nearly impossible to buy best players for a club in this window. If there is no change in the team, I think the situation of Man United will be worse. So, I think Man United may buy a new player although the price can be more expensive.

You're right. There was a club that negotiated with Man United to sign Maguire. I think they already made a good offer, the price deserved for a player like Maguire. But it was quite strange that Man United or Ten Hag rejected the offer. They prefer to give Maguire more time in Man United squad although they know that Maguire is one of the problem of Man United. I don't know what's happening, it looks like Man United still thinks he is an important player in their squad. lol Roll Eyes
