I couldn't agree any less with you, Manchester city and Real Madrid not only perform so well in their group in the champions league but they aswell perform brilliantly in their various domestic league where they are at the top of the table showing how well informed they are in their strength, they both have some level of consistency aswell.
Bayern Munich isn't a team to underestimate because their domestic league where they play too isn't an easy one, they also have it very competitive there aswell yet they are doing well and back at the champions league they aren't performing any less although it seems as if they are yet to meet teams who are in better form as compared to those in their group but then they will most likely still have they form to face other tougher team after the group stage and probably get a good result.
Real Madrid has currently lost the lead, they are second after Girona, but this may be temporary. In any case, you are right, these are teams that set maximum goals for themselves and they are able to achieve them. This season for me there are two clear contenders for the Champions League title: City and Real. Bayern is also a very strong team, but at the moment they are not in their optimal condition, although the final is still far away and everything can change.
@Altryist unless Kane can break his trophy jinx Bayern won’t win the champions league this season because so far even with Bayern he’s failed to win any cup so far. Also Real Madrid player’s would like to gift Carlo a final gift by winning this year’s champions league however if they end up facing City then it’ll be very difficult for them but it won’t be easy for City too.
