Rudi Garcia has been fired. He is not a great coach and he deserves to be fired because he failed to maintain Napoli good performance this season. Now Napoli management has appointed Walter Mazzarri as Rudi Garcia replacement for the remainder of this season. Walter Mazzarri is on a short-term contract, meaning that if he succeeds in making Napoli better, he might get a contract extension in the future.

It is so unfortunate that Napoli didn’t get a good replacement to perform better than the previous manager that was sacked after a good season with them, could we say this is karma? Now that they’ve sacked Rudi Garcia, I hope the new coach perform better. Giving him a short time contract signifies that they want work to be done on the team by him and bring the team back to the winning ways. Walter Mazzarri have a lot to do to prove to the team management to keep him by the end of the season, hopefully he can fulfill that within the timeframe he has given that the season is not yet halfway.
