Zidane would have been a powerful manager for Manchester United. I feel like he's more result oriented than Erik Ten Hag who has not been delivering the club as much as it could have. Zidane would have done better really with the performance he has shown during the last season he had with Real Madrid. Calm and assertive. Intelligent and focused on the goal. Also a team player. Not as temperamental as Erik and can easily bring the aggrieved or aggressive players into play because at the end of the day what matters most is to be the winners.
That will never happen because in his interview a few moments ago, Zidane would never coach an English team because of the language barrier used and he also doesn't want to be in a team whose future is unclear. Zidane doesn't want his impressive record as a coach to be tarnished if he coaches Manchester United and that is definitely a consideration he has to make.
It looks like Manchester United will have to look for another coach and that's even if Manchester United no longer fully trusts Erik Ten Hag. However, Manchester United's current situation is not good and with a large list of injured players, this will certainly continue to corner Erik ten Hag and it is likely that this will not last much longer.
