Considering Girona is presently dominating the rankings, I am extremely excited about the dynamics that are developing in the league right now. It's the constantly changing obstacles in the league that I find so fascinating, mostly because of the surprising skill displayed by some teams that do better than usual. Because it makes the weaker teams more motivated to perform, this element of uncertainty raises the total entertainment value.

What really astounds me is Girona's remarkable showing considering their lineup doesn't include any players with international recognition. It is pretty remarkable that they have been able to succeed and lead the league. The idea that having star players is the only requirement for success is challenged.

Although Girona may not have faced many strong opponents to yet, I am becoming increasingly confident in their skills based on the few games they have played.
