The difference between these two teams is quite far, we can see the difference in points between these two teams is very far, and I think that is a basic conclusion to ascertain about the team that has a greater chance in the match. Of course as you said that this season Leipzig can perform better and not far from the expectations of their fans, as in the last season they can compete in the top five of the standings with other strong teams like Bayern Munich and Dortmund and now there is no change, in the sense that they have good depth and are quite consistent.
This season there is nothing promising from Wolfsburg, in the last five matches they could not win a single victory, but maybe their advantage is only because they will play at home which means they already control the field and also they will have the full support of their fans which indirectly inevitably they must be able to perform better and maximize their performance at all costs. But on the other hand even though they will play at home, I will not put too much hope on Wolfsburg, because obviously the difference in performance from both teams is enough to be the reason who will win.
Leipzig has been performing well of recent in their league and comparing them to their next encounter, Wolfsburg, they've been far better than them in the ball play, dominance, victory and goal scoring opportunities and abilities, Leipzig now rubs shoulders with the likes of Bayern Munich, Dortmund who are amongst the tough clubs in the league, to say that Wolfsburg may not stand a chance with them is likely a fact because they've been doing less than Leipzig.
Leipzig does have a big chance against them and their victory in the game won't be surprising because they're the stronger team, Wolfsburg would need to work on themselves more to be able to compete right with Leipzig, but then this is football and anything is possible therefore Leipzig should ball with caution and not underestimate Wolfsburg.
