I think in some of the seasons Liverpool and Manchester City have been so close to each other that it is not simple to tell who was better. Yes in the end the title is what decides who is the best, but when both teams have close to 100 points in the Premier League, it could be so many things that made the difference. This one penalty in a game or that shot from a long distance in the other game, but considering the total effort both teams put into the season, I think sometimes they have been equally strong and one of them had this tiny, tiny little bit of extra that made them win the foto finish.
