This is the reason why Google Chrome disabled backspace for navigation.

If you accidentally but intentionally navigated away, you can come back to the same page without losing anything. For example, if you pressed the back button, just press the forward button again, and it should load the same page with your text.

As per the news, when donations were collected, it was ~$70,000. So, theymos could easily return it to everyone at the same rates
