$217k is not a small amount of money in the US not to mention the Philippines, so I believe the wait and the effort given to it are all worth it. This is an example of a determined heart to get justice and it's justifiable since what he pursued justice for is worth it. For the daughter, it's a mere familiar issue which will easily get resolved and I am sure with the final result, the daughter would be very proud and happy for her father.

However, the only painful part is the value of the money which would have greatly decreased over the course of the legal battle. The 6% annual interest is nothing that can quantify the decreased value of the money due to inflation in the country within the past 9 years.

Well, the waiting made by the winner is not a joke; he still applied his patience because he knew what he was fighting for in the office. The fact that you kept going back and forth to the office as if showing him not to rely on you didn't stop him from following up.

Yeah, and it I have to guess, that will be what 2 set of Presidents of the country of the Philippines to be able to get justice and all the money that he has deserved. That's some fighting spirit and patience of the winning ticket. Not sure what justice looks like in the country, but it's been that long then it's a slow process there.
