I don't know why we shouldn't gamble in front of kids. Yes, of course, the gambling advertisers are losing everything for just gambling, and it's a bad influence on kids. I agree with that. But I really don't understand why people always think that when it comes to gambling, it's only for people who are addicted to gambling. There are people out there who have gambling responsibilities. And it's not really having a bad influence on kids at all, I believe. Because I know everyone knows about gambling, and everyone told us not to get addicted to it and to act responsibly. But no one tells us how to gamble responsibly, so when someone knows how to do it and it's helping kids to know, then it's not a bad thing to gamble in front of the kids.

Irrespective of how you think gambling, it is an adult practice and it shouldn't be introduced to kids as they are still in their learning and developmental stage. The parent may be very responsible in gambling, but this doesn't mean the child would, and the younger the child, the worse the effect could be. What children get to learn at a tender age often has a serious impact on their psychology, which is why it's important if parents avoid letting their children know about their gambling life, not only that, all other adult-related activities. This is unless the children got to learn it somehow, and if you are close with them, you will know pretty soon, which is where you will come in and educate them about it.

At this point, I expect such parents to talk badly about gambling to discourage the children at that age so that they will not see any light in it until they are of legal age or are mature and better able to handle adult-related things by themselves. This is what I call responsible parenting as gambling might not be entirely bad but it's entirely bad to expose young people to it, they may never recover from it.
