In as much as I am no fan of KYC as I jealously hold my privacy to a high esteem I just have to admit base on how things are going KYC will definitely penetrate into all crypto-based platforms through by the coercive use of the instrumentality of the state by the government, like the circumstance of mixers it all was like a dream, if you resist you will be swept off the business environment, and these casinos wants to still be in business so they therefore have no alternative than to concur (I can't really blame them). So as gambler we can't escape kyc anymore, if it's not demanded today it will be tomorrow or next.
Gamblers can escape KYC but obviously it will cost them not to play at their favorite casinos that demands KYC. Please bear the fact that engaging in gambling casino is not compulsory, it is a volunteer action of a person in hopes to win amount of money while having entertainment. Thus this means if a gambler don't want to proceed with KYC, he has always an option not to do so but obviously as I stated, he then sacrifice his right to access casino services that requires KYC.
I highly agree, it is not the casino's wish or plan to implement KYC but the government who controls policy and regulations and in order for theses casinos to continue their business, they have to comply with the authority.
It might cost their funds since the only casino running without KYC are those shady casino. So its up for them if they want to risk or obey what those legitimate casino since they are the one who will face the consequences of the decisions they made. But for me I'm fine with KYC as long as I make sure the casino is reputable then everything is fine there.
Also for sure online casino doesn't want to have KYC if they have a choice since for sure they respect the privacy of there clients. But government order this that's why they can't do anything but to comply on what they ask. Also we should not get worried about this implementation since for sure we can't be harm with that especially if we are just a simple gambler and not those famous personality or criminal since for sure with this there's really huge risk involve with that.
