You misunderstood OP he actually meant Niger state which is part of the 36 state in Nigeria, located in the central region of the country it is the state that OP is actually referring and not the Niger Republic we know as a country. OP seems to be close to the government or the state politicians and so far he has been using that influence well. I also learnt that the Governor is more of a youth and that’s why I think he is looking into the possibility of this.

But I still wonder how the governor would do this since it would amount to a conflict of interest between the state government and CBN. As we all know, the CBN has banned all banks and financial institutions from associating with crypto dealing or anyone dealing with it. Perhaps this new CBN government would do the right thing this time.

After that February 2021 ban I think the government last year as actually relaxes the laws concerning cryptocurrency, just that they don’t fully support it yet
