What I know is that those who are in therapy for gambling addiction seem to have a severe level of addiction. Now I also know that the payment is expensive; that's true. But my only question is: how did the person you are talking about lead to addiction?

What is that? Has he been a gambler for a long time, and has he reached a point where he loses a lot of money gambling? Also, if an addict cannot afford the fee for the therapy service, his close family and friends can help him get therapy.

I never heard about any therapy for gambling addiction nor i have known if there exist any therapy centers where the gamblers are being treated who are addicted. Do the gambling addicts get healthy again and leave gambling after being treated at these centres???

Of course, these therapy centres (for whatever purpose) are never cheap and one has to pay a good lot of money as it is always thought that only the elite class go to such rehabilitation centres.
