However, it turned out that they were superior in various things, not only ball possession but also Newcastle experienced continuous attacks from Tottenham.

I don't trust Tottenham just yet, they have a habit of mounting a big challenge against big teams like Manchester City only to lose points to weaker contenders. Regardless, kudos to them on getting those 3 points against Newcastle, which also seems to be a very unstable team lately.
