Basically, investing in altcoins for bull markets and holding is very risky. Because most of the time we have seen altcoins are scams due to which people are afraid to invest in these coins. But I think there are some good coins that have high volume and potential to go well in the future that can definitely be profitable to invest in. And if all those coins can be held for a long time, then of course it is possible to get a lot of money, but you have to wait until the bull market.

Altcoins are most time risky as you said but it may sometimes make you rich if you are lucky. It's not advisable to invest in altcoin but one can gamble through little money to buy some but this money must be a money you can avoid to lose. This can be done after making some necessary research. But remember your research doesn't guarantee you profit on most altcoin.

Yeah in rare occasion it can happen, when the coin that you pick got hype or played by the whales you can take away a huge bunch of profits, the very reason why there are still traders who choose new coin to invest with, thinking that if luck permits them and the coin that they support will pump high it will be a great value for their investment.

Though not many or it's just limited compared with the chance that you'll be scam up and lose everything when the developers decided to runaway with your money.

I see investing in altcoin as another mean of gambling. This is because altcoin doesn't assure you profit no matter long research was made. Altcoin can make you rich today and still turn you to a poor man tomorrow especially when you are greedy. I only invest in altcoin with the money I can avoid to lose.
