if you want long investment is good can invest ten big market in coin marketcap, btc, eth, bnb, ltc and more
ada and xrp coin good too because still ten big market and now ada and xrp price still low price

correct that cardano and Ripple have almost the same value now which means there is a better choice if he will add this to the holding (we are talking 3 or more years here at least till the next halving)
but better to have more diversification and not just the 2 given from the OP.

having those 5 are better option, most of the promising currencies are the mentioned so I support this advise and hope that OP have already choose them.

As far as am being concerned, all of these five coins mentioned from you all were not bad for an investment, they are all having a positive market performance and a future prospect of an investment, there are still more better cryptocurrencies that we have with more similar performance and we can make investment in them, but over the years, all these have been proven to be inclusive of the reliable altcoins for an investment.
