Maybe no coach expects this to happen, but if players are constantly forced to play then I'm sure they will get tired and cause problems. Real Madrid can overcome that because they have a much better and more complete squad depth compared to Girona, so if this happens then Girona will have a much more difficult time dealing with it compared to Real Madrid.

This is what I mentioned before about all the experience that Real Madrid has and how they understand to invest a certain minimum to yet claim the top of the table. It was said that this game against Alaves was supposed to be an easy win, but that is disregarding the fact that Real Madrid doesn't care whether it is easy, close or dominance. The only thing that counts is the 3 points after the game and Real Madrid is very good at achieving that even when the clock is running down and time is against them. But there we are with Real Madrid being first again.
